Double Crust Pie

Something challenging about this lab was getting the crust rolled out to the right size and shape to be able to work with and fit into the pie. The crust was too crumbly so it needed to be food processed. After using the food processer though, the crust was much easier to work with.

One thing that was done well in this lab was the intricate weaving design used. I like how the braid and different sized crisscrosses. Also the braid around the edge was done very well.

One thing done well in the photo is the use of  the pink table cloth with the colours in the pie as well as the colours for the flowers chosen as a simple yet elegant background prop.

One thing that I would do differently in the lab next time is to possibly make my own filling instead of a store bought one. This is so I can have a more homemade feel to the pie as well as taste.

One thing I would do differently in the photo next time is to use more natural light and possible different angles to capture the texture of the pie better.
